As we gear up for another thrilling season of ballroom brilliance, let’s take a trip down memory lane to celebrate the past winners who’ve waltzed, tangoed, and cha-cha-cha’d their way to the top. We’ll also pay tribute to the talented runners-up who came oh-so-close to winning the coveted glitterball trophy.

On Saturday 16th December 2023 Ellie Leach was the latest celebrity to be crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion, with professional Vito Coppola.

With the help of professional partner Vito, Ellie beat Bobby Brazier and Layton Williams to lift the glitterball trophy and become the 2023 Champion.

Runners-up: Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden were fierce competitors, but Kelvin and Oti’s journey was truly inspiring.

Series 18 – 2020

Winners: Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse triumphed with their unforgettable Street/Commercial routine, proving that age is just a number.
Runners-up: HRVY and Janette Manrara gave them a run for their money, but Bill and Oti’s partnership was a delight to watch.

Series 19 – 2021

Winners: Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice made history with their mesmerizing Tango, becoming the first deaf contestant to win Strictly Come Dancing.
Runners-up: John Whaite and Johannes Radebe impressed the judges, but Rose and Giovanni’s emotional journey resonated with viewers.

Series 20 – 2022

Winners: Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal – the couple triumphed in the final with their couples choice to Jerusalem.
