It is with deep shock and sadness that we learned of Robin Windsor’s passing this week.
We had the pleasure of working with Robin at several of our Dancing With The Stars Weekends where he shared his love & passion of dance with us all, and was always happy to spend time with everyone.
Robin lit up the room with his talent, charisma and passion for dance. His love of the craft shone through everytime he stepped onto the dance-floor.
Our thoughts are with his family. We will pay tribute to Robin at our upcoming Dancing With The Stars Weekend.
The dance-floor will miss your professionalism, talent and infectious smile, may you rest in peace, knowing that your spirit will continue to inspire all who were touched by your talent.

Russian Ballroom dancer Kristina Rihanoff was a cast member on US Dancing With The Stars before being snapped up by the BBC. This year Kristina is delighted to be paired up with Blue singer Simon Webbe – previous celebrity partners include Joe Calzaghe & Ben Cohen.
In 2015 Kristina partnered Irish singer and entertainer Daniel O’Donnell
Kristina announced at the end of 2015 that she would not be returning to the next series of the show.
British professional Latin and Ballroom dancer Robin Windsor was part of the cast of Burn the Floor for over 7 years before joining Strictly. Previous Strictly partners include Lisa Riley, Deborah Meaden, Patsy Kensit & Anita Dobson.

After many impressive competitive achievements Kristina Rihanoff retired from competitive dance and joined the US hit TV series Dancing with the Stars in 2007. It was through this show her popularity rose and in 2008 she joined the professional dancers at Strictly Come Dancing.
In 2015 Kristina partnered Daniel O’Donnell. Irish folk and country singer Daniel O’Donnell has sold over 10 million albums globally.
Kristina has taken part in the last 8 series of Strictly. She has impressed with her exceptional choreography, both with the other professionals and her celebrity partners.
Kristina’s first season saw the memorable partnering with John Sergeant and then in 2009, she transformed the boxing legend, Joe Calzaghe into a ballroom star. Kristina went on to partner DJ Goldie, losing out in the first stage but making it through to the final of 2011 with Jason Donovan, runner up to Harry Judd and Alioni Villani. In the 2012 series Kristina partnered Film Actor Colin Salmon, and more recently in 2013 Kristina partnered England Rugby Hero Ben Cohen.

Robin Windsor
1979 – 2024
During 2000, Robin Windsor was cast in the immensely popular and critically acclaimed dance company; Burn the Floor. He continued his remarkable career with this dance troupe for nine years which included two world tours. From Broadway, Robin’s abilities took him to Dancing with the Stars, Australia and So You Think You Can Dance in Holland.
Robin first appeared in Strictly Come Dancing in 2010 with actress Patsy Kensit. The pair remained in the competition for nine solid weeks, an unparalleled accomplishment for a first season contestant.
Robin had an amazing second series on Strictly with his celebrity partner Anita Dobson. They made it to a respectable week nine of the competition. Robin also competed in last year’s Children in Need Strictly Special with BBC Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid and successfully won the competition. Robin partnered Emmerdale screen star Lisa Riley in 2012, and Star of Dragons’ Den Deborah Meaden in 2013
Due to injury Robin had to withdraw from Strictly in 2014, we’re pleased to say Robin made a full recovery and is now back on the dance-floor.
In 2015 Robin partnered Alison Hammond for the Christmas Special, they danced a jive to Celebration.
In 2015 Robin joined Zoe Ball & the team as a resident Dance Expert on It Takes Two.
