Do I Wanna Know? The answer is yes! Michelle and Jamie deliver a suitably sultry Argentine Tango in week 8. The judges loved the musicality and connection, but all wanted to see Jamie relax and let his talent shine through.

Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas first started dancing at the age of 6 in her home country of Cyprus. There she became an undefeated champion, winning national titles consecutively from 2001-2011 before moving to London to study.

Whilst in the UK Michelle represented England at major international championships before joining Burn The Floor.

We are excited for Michelle’s debut series and she’s struck gold with Christmas special winner Jamie. Leave the drama on the square, it’s time to dance!

EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick will be taking his first steps into the world of ballroom alongside Michelle Tsiakkas, who made her *Strictly* debut in 2022. The actor’s natural charisma could make this duo a hit with audiences, and Michelle will surely push Jamie to deliver his best on the dance floor.

Borthwick previously appeared on the Strictly Christmas special in 2023, lifting the glitterball trophy with professional partner Nancy Xu

Jamie is best known for his role in EastEnders as Jay Brown.

On joining the show Jamie said ”I had a ball doing the Strictly Christmas special last year, so when I was asked to join for this series it was the easiest yes!” he said. “This is a fresh challenge and it will be so different to be learning a new dance every week and for the public to have their say.

“I’m hoping to be Salsa-ing around Albert Square in no time and I’ll be asking my Walford Strictly alumni for some words of wisdom. See you on the dancefloor!”

Jamie has been nominated for a number of roles, including Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress, Best Soap Actor (Male) and Best Actor at various awards.

Fun fact: Jamie has been acting in *EastEnders* since he was 12, racking up nominations for Best Actor!

In week 1 ‌Jamie & Michelle will dance a Viennese Waltz to Beautiful Things by Benson Boone

Tackling the notorius Rumba in week 2 Michelle and Jamie give us a dreamy romantic atmosphere. The judges, well most (Craig!) were impressed and spy some talent. Definitely one to watch.
